El Reno High School Drum and Bugle Corps
The 1938 Boomer documents a separate 37-student girls' drum and bugle corps organized and directed by Tom Shirley. Sara Ann Preston was drum major and Eunice Cormack assistant sponsor. The corps provided music and marching exhibitions and attended festivals and contests. It remains distinct from the school's concert/marching band.

What remains uncertain
Separate from the El Reno High School Band / the separately documented band; relationship to the unidentified 1938 cowboy marching band / ERL.506 is unsupported.
High for separate corps identity, 37-student photo-caption roster, director, drum major, visible percussion/bugles and 1937–38 activity from a contemporary school yearbook; exact appearance dates and outcomes beyond the captioned year remain unresolved.
