Carney’s jazz-band table and Blue Devils, Fields/Royal Entertainers, Polly’s Musical Maids, Ted Armstrong and other established profiles already occur in the research. Shared musicians do not merge Christian family groups, Sheffield, Blue Devils, Moten or Basie organizations.
Limits and open questions
The 41 dossier headings and 39-item closing list are not counts of new bands. Preserve aliases and relationship questions; no inflated statewide count.
