Central High School Marching Band
The 1925 Chieftain identifies the C.H.S. State Champion Band, director Anton Goetz, president Francis Dowd, vice-president David McKenzie and secretary Jack Murphy. The roster covers alto, bass, baritone, clarinet, horn, cornet, drum, saxophone and trombone sections. The championship contest and date are not established by this caption. The separately filmed Muskogee Symphony Band is not assumed to be this school band.

What remains uncertain
Distinct from Muskogee Manual Training/Douglass ensembles and from the separately documented band Muskogee Symphony Band unless direct primary linkage is recovered.
High for identity, 1925 director, officers, full roster, state-champion designation and woodwind/brass/percussion instrumentation from the primary 1925 Chieftain; high for 1922 organization from OHS scholarly retrospective; Symphony-band linkage unresolved.
