Dated newspaper transcriptions describe concerts, Memorial Day and picnic music, and a dissolution in April 1904. Saunders' orchestra was a separate mixed ensemble; continuity with later municipal bands is not established.

Its July 19 report says the Alva Coronet band played patriotic airs as visitors arrived at the railroad depot.
