Lincoln County Music History

County history

Lincoln County has a substantial music-history research base, but this first pass located more evidence for institutions and source availability than for named pre-2000 band rosters. The county's strongest early lead is Chandler High School: its current institutional history states that the marching and concert bands were founded alongside the high school in 1914, with early parade performances. Because this statement appears on a current promotional site, it is treated as Moderate evidence, pending corroboration in contemporary newspapers or yearbooks.
